Custom Pre-64 Model 70 (Fwt action with Fwt Alloy bottom metal), bolt knob was filled in and checkered *Please note* I do not know who checkered the knob as it was already done when I purchased the rifle. It's professional and very nicely done. Timney trigger set at a clean, crisp, 48oz. Douglas Premium 22" barrel that was installed and chambered by Douglas. MPI lwt stock, 13.5" LOP. Metal work, (Fluting barrel, all metal work Cerakoted Graphite Black, including swivel studs) all performed by Kampfeld, Stock fitting and recoil pad(1" Decelerator) by Steve Williams, U.P. Hunters Gunsmithing. Stock painting (Medium Gray with Black webbing) by Brandon Burkhart of Custom Gun Coating. I purchased this rifle from the original owner last year, used it on one hunt and have not touched it since. It shoots Federal Premium 140 grain trophy bonded .75 moa consistently. I tried some IMR 4831 with 140 ballistic tips with the same results. It is definitely a shooter. It has 8-40 scope base screws and will come with a set of talley lightweight 1" and 30 mm rings. THE SCOPE IS NOT INCLUDED IN SALE. I know I will regret selling this one but I have a custom a Kimber in 7x57 that is my go-to and the 280 is too similar for me to keep both.
