Description:
Serial #01072, .45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. The pistol is built on a Remsport 1911A1 frame with extended safety, skeleton trigger, and an unmarked, target sight-equipped slide. the metal retains nearly all of the blue finish on the slide, with a commensurate amount of Du-Lite blue on the frame and small parts. The slide shows a minor spot of very light pitting toward the muzzle on. the slider on both sides. The checkered walnut grips are likewise in excellent, almost unused condition with few handling marks and sharp checkering points. The pistol has a Colt barrel installed, and comes with a single “G" marked WW2 magazine (General Shaver), that has been refinished to match the pistol. We have been notified by our friend Robert Gussman that he built this pistol from parts years ago. FFL
