Very rare and beautiful. A honest 140 year old Attic Queen, is the only way to describe this lovely Marlin revolver. This one is magnificently engraved front to rear, down both sides and the entire cylinder. It retains about 97-98+% of the original nickle. There is some very minor loss at the muzzle and a little flaking on the ejector rod . All parts are proper and all numbers match, including the grips. They are as pristine as is the rest of the gun, retaining at least 99% of the original factory lacquer. The force cone and cylinder face show no evidence of any real use. The bore is also pristine. Sunshine bright and razor sharp. As you collectors know Marlin pistols are rare but nickel plated and engraved are incredibly challenging to come by. It doesn't get better than this minty example.
