Description:
This classic 1948 vintage model 70 has been modified over the years with a Griffin and Howe quick detach scope mount, Lyman receiver sight (minus the ladder and aperture), and has had a Williams barrel sight installed behind the factory sight to create a sort of poor man's express sight. The bolt knob has been custom knurled and refinished, and the bolt body has had been jeweled. Overall, an interesting arrangement of sighting options on a classic rifle with a rare and desirable scope mount. .30-06 Springfield
