Description:
This high quality and unique rifle was manufactured for Colt by J.P. Sauer & Son of West Germany. The rifle features a non-rotating bolt that makes the Colt Sauer action smoother functioning than most. It was manufactured without sights and is equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III. One piece high gloss stock with a checkered forearm and pistol grip with a rosewood forend tip and grip cap with the Rampant Colt on it, raised comb, cheekpiece and black rubber vented Colt Sauer recoil pad. Colt discontinued this rifle in 1985. The metal on this rifle is excellent, retaining approximately 99% plus original blued finish with some light handling marks. The stock is also excellent with a few light dings. The optic is clear. .300 Winchester Magnum
