This flintlock blunderbuss is a NON-GUN that was most likely used as a movie prop. The overall length is approx. 30.5"". The 15.75"" cannon muzzle ""barrel"" is not really a barrel as it has a bottom steel rod that fastens it to the stock. The unmarked flintlock is a non-working reproduction that does not operate. It is attached to the stock with wood screws and there is no pan or touch hole. The brass furniture is decorated in the English style with an acorn at the front of the trigger guard and decorative engraving on the guard, the butt plate tang, and the side plate. The stock is good with a missing chip at the toe, light use wear, and no other chips or cracks. This ""blunderbuss"" would make a fine wall hanger or movie or play prop.
