Description:
This is a 6" percussion revolver made by Colt around 1861. The gun is a true antique that can be sent to your address without an FFL involved. This pistol was previously owned by a machinist who did quite a bit of gunsmithing after retirement, and loved to dial in these old revolvers. The functions of this piece are quite crisp, with decent cylinder timing and lock up. Bore shows typical rifling, and is probably shootable in most collectors opinion. S/Ns match, with the eception of the plunger rod. All surfaces show consistent wear and tear as one would except. Wood grips are decent, and of course the heel shows numerous small marks, but the S/N is intact. Nice Civil War Colt.
