Beautiful rifle from a pinnacle era of 70 production, here's an amazing Pre War 70 in the king of calibers 30-06 (.30 GOV"T '06). S/N 49*** with matching scribed bolt. The condition is outstanding showing an overall 98% original Blue and Varnish with slightly more wear on bottom metal and butt plate . Rear receiver bridge remains undrilled!, mechanics are butter smooth, and bore is excellent. Unmolested Pre Wars are tough to find in any shape and this one would be tough to upgrade. Great rifle!
