Weeks of non payment forces relist...Outstanding example of a scarce transition era Winchester 70 in favorite 30-06 caliber. S/n 76*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1947. Excellent 98% condition throughout with a few light marks. 24" Barrel.
Mechanics and bore are excellent. Has the unique pre war type clover leaf tang and the "clam shell" aka "rabbit's foot" safety used only during this short production period. A beautiful and hard to come by rifle in this shape.
