Description:
Remington Model 700 Allen Custom Arms in .358 Norma Magnum. Features a 26" custom barrel (maker unknown) with an Allen Custom Arms muzzle-brake (24 1/2" barrel and 1 1/2" muzzle-brake). The chamber area of the barrel is marked "Allen Custom Arms", and the left side of the barrel is marked "Varmint Special" (which is probably an inside joke to the original owner of the rifle for whom it was built). The Remington 700 action has custom components and gunsmithing work, such as Winchester model 70 three position safety, Sako extractor and flutes on the top half of the bolt. Also has a Remington 700 trigger, set at 2 1/2 Lbs., and a Remington trigger guard and floorplate assembly. The stock appears to be an older Brown Precision composite, fiberglass and synthetic, and is in very good condition. Rifle weighs 7 Lbs. 14 Oz. Overall, the rifle is in very good condition and does not appear to have been shot or hunted with much. .358 Norma Mag
