Description:
Marlin Model 1893 Lever Action Rifle in .38-55. SN #D6989. Mfg. in 1916-1917. LOP 12 1/2". 25 1/2" round barrel with a good bore for it's age, strong rifling with light pitting. The Case Colored Receiver, Lever, Crescent Buttplate and Blued Barrel have been nicely refinished as has the straight Walnut stock and forend. Barrel marked " For Black Powder". Full length tube magazine. Adjustable Buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight. Tang tapped for Tang Sight. Sharp looking rifle in a unique caliber. Weight: 6.8 lbs. Trigger Pull: 3 3/4 lbs.
