First introduced in 1948, the Marlin Model 336 lever-action rifle has been one of America's most sought-after levers of its era. This rifle fires .30-30 Winchester rounds from a 20" tapered round barrel. It also features a chrome-plated round bolt, Ballard rifiling, blued finish other than the matted top of the receiver for minimal reflections. A semi-beavertail forend and pistol grip stock are made of a smooth American walnut. The Model 336's hammer height was reduced to make way for scope mounting. Although this rifle will remain mechanically sound for years to come, its value as a collectible is sure to appreciate a sharp rise in the near future.
