Steel buttplate and forend cap. Dark bore but has sharp rifling. Barrel and mag tube have sharp corners and excellent markings with traces of blue turning a plum/brown color. Wood has minor handling mars. No splits or cracks. Considerable amount of original varnish. Receiver has a beautiful butterschotch color. Crisp action. Nice 4th model rifle!
