Magnificent classic custom built rifle by the legendary John Bolliger and engraved by world-famous engraver Lisa Tomlin in a classic 7 x 57, also known as the 275 Rigby, in Britain. This rifle is sure to become the centerpiece of any fine rifle collection. This rifle is built on the rare short Mauser action and was known as the Mountain Mauser as it was designed for Axis troops fighting in the mountains of the World War II, and needing a lighter weight reliable rifle. The rifle is stocked in a beautiful piece of French walnut for display and includes a laminated stock with identical dimensions for hunting use. The rifle was designed and built in an African style including both a quarter rib, banded and hooded front sight, Talley detachable rings, amd a "drop box" magazine.
