This E W Bern Switzerland Model K1911 in 7.5 x 55MM Swiss is in good condition, considering the K1911 model was taken out of service in 1933. The Model K1911 is also called the Schmidt-Rubin for the rifle designer and cartridge designer. The blued barrel and receiver are in good condition, with blue fading and missing in some areas. The blued 23.3" barrel is very good, with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The factory blue curved trigger is good, with a smooth light release. The factory smooth light beech stock is good with the expected dents and dings for a WW I issued rifle, but less than thought normal. Own a piece of WW I history with this E W Bern Swiss K1911 rifle. This rifle comes with a 6 round detachable magazine and a cardboard box. 7.5 X 55mm Swiss
