Beautiful pair of .60 caliber smoothbore pistols by Banks of Chipeenham. Barrels are 3"" from muzzle to breech plug and overall length is 9"". Both pistols have belt hooks which have a brilliant nitre or fire blue finish. Rear of breech plugs have a line of gold inlay. Pistols have captive ramrods. The frames, trigger guards, grip strap and butt caps all have vivid case color amidst excellent foliate engraving. The barrels have very fine Damascus pattern. The stock are excellent with extra fine line checkering. Barrels have Birmingham proofs. We can not say enough about the superior workmanship in these pistols! The case has a cleaning rod with separate screw on hammer head, cap tin, wooden screw off lid for percussion caps or nipples, bullet mold and compartment for lead balls. The case is lined in violet color velvet and gives the contents a beautiful background. When people talk about the joy and pleaser of ownership, this is it!
