Savage model 99R in 300 Savage. Built in 1954,this rifle has a 24" barrel with a mint bore. The rifle is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting or for a tang sight. Other features include hand checkered walnut stock and forend, cartridge counter, case colored lever,jeweled bolt,and lever safety.The rifle is in excellent original condition retaininng 98% of the original blue and wood finish. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. A classic 99 that would make a great hunting rifle. C&R eligible.
