Description:
SOLD With a serial #149082, and chambered for 32 RF, with a 24" octagon barrel with a partially bright bore showing scattered corrosion, and evident rifling throughout, will spin a bullet good. The barrel of this rifle shows generous amounts of original blue toning to a deep gray-brown patina along with some light freckling and a few areas of minor old pitting nearer the muzzle. The action is a mild brown patina showing some scattered pinprick pitting and the small action parts retain 90% original blue. Both the barrel and upper tang are marked with Remington Arms Co. address. The smooth walnut stocks remain in very good plus condition showing some scattered light handling marks, a few small scuffs along the tip of the forend and a vacant hole along the toe line. Barrel-to-frame fit is very good, the rifle has a replacement long rocky mountain sporting rear sight and plain blade front. The action seems to function well mechanically. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
