This is a very cool Colt Combat Unit Government Model Rail Gun in 9mm Luger in minty, like-new condition and complete with everything it shipped from the factory with. Designed as a top-of-the-line Government Model, the 80-Series Combat Unit pistol was designed with lots of input from U.S. Special Forces training personnel to create the ultimate combat-style 1911 pistol. Designed with harsh use and high round counts in mind, the full-size 9mm Combat Unit pistol features stainless steel construction with a matte black DLC coating, an integral pic rail section forward of the triggerguard, front and rear slide serrations, an undercut triggerguard, an upswept beavertail grip safety, 25 LPI checkering on the front grip strap and flat mainspring housing, a National Match Barrel, Novak Combat Sights with a Trijicon front Night Sight, two 9-round magazines, and G10 scalloped and checkered grips. The Colt Combat Unit Government Model has quickly proven to be a superb pistol with excellent reliability and durability, and exceptional accuracy right out of the box. This particular example is serial number 9CCU01189 and it is in minty like-new condition, quite possibly unfired since leaving the factory. The factory DLC coating rates 99.9%, with no scratches, dings, marring, or visible wear. All of the factory markings are crisp and clean, and all of the checkering is still sharp and in perfect condition. The bore in this Colt is mirror-bright and perfect, free from any damage or visible wear. The rifling looks brand-new with sharp lands and grooves from the chamber to the crown of the muzzle. The factory G10 grips are also like-new, rating 99.9% with no visible wear or imperfections. The action on this Combat Unit pistol is smooth and tight, and the slide-to-frame fitment is excellent without any slop. The barrel lock-up with the slide is perfect and tight. All of the controls on this pistol are in like-new, perfect working order. The internals of this Combat Unit pistol are just as clean and free from wear as the exterior. This Colt should function perfectly, just like the day it left the factory. As mentioned before, this 9mm Colt Combat Unit 1911 comes with everything it shipped new with including the original box with an intact serial-numbered end-label, the owner's manual, factory pamphlets, the factory orange hangtag, the chamber flag, the factory lock, the clear plastic shipping bag, and two factory stainless 9-round 9mm Luger magazines.
