<<<<SOLD>>>A fascinating pistol of gAbout .54 cal, 11'' barrel with an oxidized bore. The metal surfaces of this pistol have mostly toned to dark gray patina showing some scattered small areas of old pitting and minor oxidation. The barrel shows decorative silver inlays taking on an attractive dark tarnish, with maker's name ''IOH.ANDR.KUCHENREUTER'' and horseman with ''IAK'' maker's touch mark. The rather small lockplate shows softened ''IA / KUCHENREUTER'' in the center. The triggerguard, butt cap and sideplate are rather simple affairs and show a few small ''2'' stamps. The replacement smooth walnut stock is very bulky and rather rudimentary tiger walnut, otherwise remaining in about very good plus condition showing a couple tiny shallow chips and light dings. Appears that all metal parts are from a famous German maker, that has been retocked with American walnut wood.The front sight is a replacement large German silver blade and the lock is functional. No provision for a ram-rod.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
