Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: If you have been looking for a high-end modern AK-style rifle with a side-folding stock, they really don't get any better than this.  Bought new by the original owner and put into storage until now, this 7.62x39 caliber Molot-Oruzhie Ltd. VEPR AK is in unfired and mint condition.  It comes complete with it's original box with an intact serial-numbered end-label and all of the box inserts.  Imported by the FIME Group in Las Vegas, Nevada, the VEPR is an extremely well-made and handsome AK variant made in Russia, where the AK was originally born.  This VEPR AK model was designed using many features found on the heavy-duty RPK military rifle.  The VEPR  uses a 1.5mm stamped receiver which is 50% thicker than a standard AK, and uses extra-strength reinforced trunnions.  This design feature makes the VEPR more accurate and much less prone to flexing and fatigue, particularly under sustained firing.  The barrel is a cold hammer-forged and chrome lined heavy-barrel design matched with a chrome-lined chamber area, gas cylinder, and bolt support rod.  This combination takes a lot more rounds to heat-up than a normal set-up, and reduces accuracy loss when the gun gets hot.  The receiver is fit with a standard Russian-style left side-mounted optics base and the rifle comes with RPK-type iron sights, which has an windage and elevation adjustable rear sight that does not require tools, and a thinner-style front sight post that enables finer shot placement and better target visibility.  The VEPR is offered with either a polymer fixed stock or tubular steel side-folder to go along with the polymer forearm and pistol grip.  This particular example has the tubular steel side-folding stock.  This heavy-duty folding design uses all metal components in the frame and hinge for durability and locks in both the folded and extended position.  To release the stock from the folded position a button is pushed at the rear of the receiver, to release it from the extended position a latch is pushed forward on the left side of the receiver.  There are no loose parts to rattle and the gun is fully operational with the stock folded.  The upper bar of the buttstock is fitted with a spring-loaded cheek pad that can be offset out of the way or engaged with the shooters cheek for left or right-handed shooters.  This is a particularly valuable piece when optics are in use to properly align the eye with a scope while maintaining a tight cheek-weld.  As mentioned previously, this VEPR is as nice as they get and looks brand-new.  The factory finish rates 99% plus with no wear or marring, and the bore is mirror-bright and perfect.  The internals of this AK are just as pristine as the exterior, and there is no evidence of this AK having ever been fired since leaving the factory.  All of the factory stock parts are like-new as well, and all of the controls on this AK are in perfect working order.  This VEPR comes with one 10-round factory magazine but will accept any high capacity metal or polymer 7.62x39 caliber AK magazine.  This really is one of the very best modern AK rifles that you can buy and should prove to be an excellent long-term investment.     SOLD Rifle Caliber: 7.62x39mm Manufacturer: Molot-Oruzhie Ltd.
