Description:
This 8x57mm Custom Mauser Model 88 Sporter Mannlicher style rifle has a 24" blued tapered octagon barrel with a matted top flat. The bore is very good with sharp rifling and measures .318 dia. The barrel has some light finish wear, and is fitted with an adjustable folding leaf rear sight and a bead front sight. The blued receiver has some finish wear around the bolt release. The bolt and magazine are nickel plated. The Walnut buttstock has two cracks on the right and left side of the wrist that have been repaired. The buttplate has been removed and replaced with a rubber buttpad. There are two sling swivel studs one on the buttstock, and one on the barrel. The length of pull is 14-1/2, overall length is 43-1/2", and the weight is 7.4 lbs. Included with the rifle are various reloading components. A two piece Die Set by C-H Tool & Die, 59-Woodleigh Bullets, 60-Custom Bullets, 11-rounds of brass, 71-rounds of reloaded ammo and 4 charging clips.
