Description:
Orvis Union Armera / Grulla 12 gauge sidelock with 26" barrels, ejectors, choked F/M, in very nice condition. LOP is 13 3/4" to the rear trigger, 14 5/8" to the front trigger. It's on face, nice and tight and is a personal firearm. This was made for Orvis by Union Armera, the company that became Grulla. One of the pictures clearly shows the Grulla (Crane) stamp on the water table. I've used it with great satisfaction on pheasant tower shoots and it's absolutely lethal with #5 shot.
Update: The shotgun has an X1* proof series on its watertable, so according to the shotguns.se , the shotgun was made in 1978. The actual empty weight is 6.43 lbs,
