Description:
Offdered for purchase is a lovely Browning Superposed Lightning O/U 20 gauge shotgun. This is a Belgium made Browning with all the quality and beauty these guns offer. This is a Lightning (lighter by aprox 1/2 lb) 20 gauge model with 26 3/8" barrels choked Modified/Improved Cylinder.
The gun is a short tang, round knob model with beautifully hand checkered walnut stock and forend. The wood components are well figured Walnut finished with a deep redish laquer finish.
The stock and forend are in excellent condition with only a very few light scratches that do not penetrate the finish. The metal components retain 95 - 98% of their original deep blued finish. The clasic Browning Grade One engraving covers most of the exposed receiver and trigger guard surfaces. The gun is equipted with a factory Browning recoil pad.
Mechanically the gun is perfect and functions flawlessly with a single selective trigger and selective ejectors. The gun weighs 6 lbs. - 14oz.
