Description:
Colt SAA Winchester/Colt commemorative. Unfired, but shows light sign of being handled (thin gold plating on fore & back straps) No drag line. This SAA commemorative has more gold than others I've seen: cylinder onlay, cylinder pin, barrel onlay, grip medallion, trigger gaurd/forestrap, trigger, back strap, hammer, & ejector tab. Nice color case hardened frame. Perhaps it was used as a Bar-B-Q gun as it's flashy enough & that would explain the light wear on the grip straps.
These were sold in matched pairs with Winchester 94's in the same caliber in 1983. There were more Colt SAAs made than were Winchester model 94s & apparently this one wasn't sold in a matching set. Includes original box, packing material & literature.
