This 1943 Springfield M1 Garand was sent to the fine armorers at Fulton Armory for a total rebuild and conversion to 7.62x51 Nato/.308 Winchester caliber. Used at several matches with great success and rifle remains in excellent condition with near new barrel and smooth tight action. Fulton Armory Garands are well known for their match winning accuracy. I was informed by previous owner that the rebuild and conversion was done at a cost of over $2000. Rifle remains in excellent condition .
