Description:
Serial #134270, .455 Webley, 7 1/2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, matching numbered revolver that retains 85-90% of the original blue finish, with some pale gray fading along the sides of the barrel, as well as on the exposed edges of the cylinder, frame, and trigger guard. The topstrap is marked “'WS' TARGET MODEL" on the left side, no markings on the barrel rib, and the Webley & Scott “Winged Bullet" and “football" trademark on the left side of the frame. The cylinder has crisp Birmingham proof stamps, and the barrel assembly has the fairly rare lightening cuts below the barrel on both sides. The checkered walnut grips are in very good-fine condition with minor handling marks and small blemishes on both panels. The lock-up is solid and tight, and the action functions flawlessly. This is a very nice WS Target revolver, and rates abut fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
