MARLIN MODEL 39-A iconic lever action rifle in .22 caliber (s, l, lr), 24" hooded barrel, tube feed, take down screw, original factory open sights (rear sight adjustable), factory original butt plate, sensational walnut pistol grip stock along with pristine bluing on barrel, receiver and ammo tube. This rifle was made and assembled in 1947 at the New Haven, Conn plant. The serial number is D12283 with the D prefix denoting the year 1947. The bore is bright and shiny; the action is smooth; the overall condition is flawless...as good as it gets! A real masterpiece.
