second type made with military parts . this has the model u.s.army 1871 locking action some minor pitting in bore shoots, 20 ga paper and 16 ga brass ammo very good original condition patina blue brown barrel finish solid stocks ,,, this is suppose to go to half cock when closing breach on the military model but the hammer hits firing pin on this gun when closing block ;;;;; eather worn or modified internal part for civilian use shoots fine with 20 gage black powder antique 30 inch steel barrel
