Just In! Superb condition Winchester 70 in doubly rare 22 Hornet caliber AND transition configuration! S/N 72*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1947.
Minty 99% condition throughout. 24" Barrel. Mechanics and bore are excellent. Insides are perfect with no bedding, routing, nor cracks. I have also personally verified that the chamber has not been altered to K hornet nor any other such foolishness. Has the unique pre war type clover leaf tang and the "clam shell" aka "rabbit's foot" safety used only during this short production period. A beautiful and nearly impossible to locate rifle in this shape.
