Description:
Pending sale to Jordan from the great state of N Dakota//Bore is excellent, and the original bluing is particularly good. This gun still has its original case coloring on the receiver too. The sights are factory targets with a windage adjustable front. The glass spirit level in the front sight has been broken but these are easily replaced. Barrel is 30” long. Caliber is marked on the bottom of the barrel. Octagon to round barrel that has NOT been sleeved. To my knowledge, all the numbers on the gun are matching to include the swiss style butt plate. LOP is 13 1/8th “ to the end of the butt plate (not the tips of the hooks!). Wood has some nice figure. Forend was never checkered as was customary on these guns. This rifle features a single trigger. You will look long and hard for another original rifle in this good of condition that is also in such a great caliber.
