Sold to the man in GA /// High serial numbered action, SN 1272664. Rebored from 30-06 to 35 Whelen by JES reboring, in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Steve Nelson cleaned the lines up in the stock, and re-cut the checkering. Tony Frost, of Oregon did the engraving in 2010. Comes with a Redfield peep sight, and it was also drilled and tapped for a one piece, Redfield or Leupold scope base. The rifle has a Pachmyer solid recoil pad. A lot of time and effort went into creating this rifle and making in the style of the pre-war classics. Photos are accurate. Comes with some ammo and a period correct Weaver K4 scope with a dot reticle.
