Winchester pre 64 model 70 in 257 Roberts. Built in 1949, this rifle is in outstanding all original condition. It retains 98%+ of the original blue and wood finish. The bore is mint with sharp rifling. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The rifle has a period correct Bushnell Scope Chief 4X scope installed with Weaver bases and rings.This rifle shows no field wear and has a faint primer mark on the bolt face. It has been fired very little.This is a high condition classic model 70 in a hard to find caliber. C&R eligible.
