Sold...David... A fine and scarce military style flap holster for the Colt 1873 SAA revolver. This is an early civilian holster for the Colt Peacemaker or Colt 1860 Army revolver, or possibly one of its conversions, made in the military style for commercial use. This holster is for the 7 1/2 inch barrel. All copper rivets and stitching remain tight and the toe still remains also. The brass finial and strap closure also remain in excellent condition. The belt loop remains excellent with very little wear also. Its rare to find these unmarked for civilian use and in this high of condition. Its also possible it could be a Confederate made holster.
