Description:
In 1933, Winchester introduced the Model 64 lever-action rifle as an evolved version of the 53 and 55 Winchester rifles. The frame and barrel are blued and has a solid feature with a forged front sight. The Model 64 was manufactured through 1957 with approximately 67,000 guns produced during the 24-year production period.
This is a solid 1951 Deluxe Model 64 in 30.30 caliber. The pics tell the story. It has been hunted with for fifty years and remains solid. Bluing is thinning especially around the receiver and a small thinning spot on the barrel from a scope. The wood is in good shape with some fading on the butt stock. No cracks or split, a real solid gun. The bore is in great shape. Checkering is also good. A rare Deluxe 64. trade accepted.
