Description:
Savage model 99F featherweight in 300 Savage. Built in early 1960, this rifle is in excellent all original condition, It retains 99% of the original blue and wood finish. The 22" barrel has a mint bore. This rifle is an unusual combination of old and new features. It has the top tang safety that was introduced in 1960, but still has all of the older classic features such as the cartridge counter, hand cut checkering, walnut stock and forend,steel buttplate,factory drilled for scope or tang sight. By the end of 1960 many of these features had been dropped or cheapened. This would make a great all around big game rifle. It comes wilh Weaver bases installed. C&R eligible.
