Description:
Remington Europa 12GA unused. This came from a Remington factory rep that brought this gun and many others to all the major domestic and international gun trade shows in the 80’s and early 90’s. The serial number is 050012. The gun is made in Italy by Bernardelli and also bears the Remington name. The barrels are 28” long and have metric threaded screw in chokes. The chamber length is 2 ¾”. The bores are excellent and unfired. There are also ejectors. The gun is equipped with a single selective trigger. The LOP is 14 ¼” over a smooth unmarked butt plate. The engraving is signed by Bottega C. Giovanelli, which is a name of a company not a person. As far as the serial number goes, the ones I have found in the “discussion” boards seem to have the same 05 prefix, if that is true, this one is serial number 12. Remington marketed this as a high quality gun and made for the European market. At the muzzle where the barrels come together there is some crud that has developed over the last 30 years this has sat in a box with the muzzle smushed up against the Styrofoam, it will clean of fine.
