Description:
Offered for sale is a unique Charles Daly Field Grade 20 gauge O/U shotgun with double triggers. This is an Italian made Charles Daly model, made for the European Market that prefers double trilggers. It is equipted with 26" barrells choked Modified (***) over Improved Cylinder (****). The Length of Pull is 14 !/2", the Drop at the Comb is 1 1/2" and a Drop at the Heel of 2 3/8". The gun weighs 7 lbs.
The metal surfaces of the gun retain 95 -98% of the original finish. The nicely grained walnut stock and forend are in excellent conition. There are no cracks, splits or dents. There are a few very small handling markis that do not penetrate the finish. Overall the gun rates excellent for condition.
This lightweight little 20 gauge is the perfect transition gun for someone who has shot side by side doubles but would like to try an Over?Under gun, of for the beginner that needs the exrta safety of lthe double triggers when learning to shoot.
