This Remington 1100 Matched Shotgun Set, featuring a rare 410 gauge and 28 gauge semi-automatic, fully represents the performance and prestige of Remington shotguns. The pair are both tubular magazines fed and engraved with "Model 1100" - Matched Pair" on the frame. These shotguns also feature Mahogany wood in the Field gun and American walnut in the Skeet gun, with press checkering, ventilated full length ribs, mid-rib steel beads and white insert front beads at the muzzle. As a matched factory pair, this set is extremely rare and very valuable. A total of a mere 5,067 Matched Pairs were produced between the years of 1969-1970, with some sales continuing between 1971-1972. This set includes to 2 of the most desirably gauged shotguns in a highly sought-after design, equating to a rare duo with exponentially increasing value.
