Excellent overall condition.
This London Armory Perc Rifle, chambered in .58 perc, emulates the design of a historic black powder musket used by the British Empire between 1853-1867. This single-shot percussion rifle bears a lock-plate which is marked with a large “crown” behind the hammer and with “London Armory Co.” in front of the hammer. The tang to the rear of the trigger reads “Made in Italy”. The front sight is an Inverted “V” blade set atop a raised base, while the rear sight is a “V” notched sight escalator marked from “1-3” on the right side of the base. The assembly flips up to become a sight ladder marked from “5-8”. The hardwood stock has a straight grip, brass nose cap, 2 barrel bands, a pair of sling loops and a cutout for the included cleaning rod and a brass buttplate. The barrel is blued, and the hammer, lock-plate and barrel bands are color casehardened.
