Sold to gentleman from Bedias Texas funds received shipment was received by Ables Gun Shop Huntsville Texas........Weatherby Deluxe Mark V .257 Magnum rifle is built with a crowned 24" blued steel barrel. The tapered barrel is manufactured without sights and the rifle has standard barrel and receiver markings. Left side of receiver reads "MARK V U.S. PATENT NO. 3.013.355" "WEATHERBY" "SOUTH GATE CALIF.","MADE IN JAPAN". The nicely figured high gloss pistol grip stock with skip line checkering, fluer de lis accent and grip cap with diamond pattern insert. The stock is further enhanced with a Monte Carlo comb cheekpiece, rosewood forearm tip which also has skip line checkering. The high comb stock also features sling swivel studs and a vented Weatherby recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent. The rifle retains 99% original deep blue finish and 98% wood finish. Wood is in excellant condition. No wear on tip of muzzle. My finger prints or smears are what you may see. The stock and forend are very good with a very few minor handling marks. No box. Shipping is $50 UPS or Fedex ground unless buyer want it expediated. Insurance is extra. Scope is a Nikon 4-16x44 BDC 1" tubescope excellent with clear optics. The scope can be added for an additional $400 and 4 - 1/3 boxes of ammunition for another $350 + plus $20 UPS ground shipping. Sighted in then hidden away for 34 years. ! Fran from Missouri on Gun poker sold hers 2 weeks ago with way too many deep depressions and finish scratches to bare wood for $1900. Check out my other listings.
