This is a fine example of an English Fine Stalking Rifle, Rigby .275, ordered by R.S.Clarke 1911. It remains in very lovely condition, and
well taken care of. The rumor is that Mr. Clarke was a Professional Hunter but there are no records of that fact. The bore is sharp and clean and the rust bluing is a fine patina blue now, with all matching ser.#s. It has the Rigby patented protective hooded front sight as the pictures show. It comes with a letter from Rigby dated 01/27/1994, plus a aftermarket green canvas wooden case.
