Description:
This is a Browning Citori Sporting Clays Edition Shot Gun in 12 gauge. It has an adjustable comb and 30 inch over/under barrels with Invector-Plus chokes. The serial number is 18842NTW53; it was manufactured in Japan in 1996. This serial number is marked on the upper tang of the receiver; a portion of it is marked on the barrel. The gun’s barrels have a polished blue finish. The receiver has a polished blue finish with rounded edges and the inscription Lightning Sporting Clays Edition in gold on either side. The inscription Browning Sporting Clays is inscribed in gold on the bottom of the receiver. This gun’s gloss finished stock is walnut with fine, cut checkering. A KICK-EEZ recoil pad is installed on the gun. The length of pull with the trigger in the center adjustment position is 14-3/8 inches. As noted, the comb is adjustable for both height and to either side. The barrels are ported, have a ventilated rib, an ivory front bead sight and an ivory middle bead sight. The gold trigger has three fore and aft adjustment positions. The underside of the trigger guard includes the Browning Buck Mark.
The gun’s wood has some very minor handling wear. The gun’s lockup is as expected, the release lever is well to the right of center, and the bores are excellent.
Included with the gun are four Browning Invector-Plus choke tubes: skeet, improved cylinder, modified, and full.
