Description: This is a nice EW Bern of Switzerland Model K1911 rifle in 7.5 X 55MM Swiss. This was also referred to as a Schmidt-Rubin after the rifle designer and cartridge designer. The blued barrel and receiver frame are good, with blue fading and missing in some areas. This could almost be considered pristine, due to its age, as the K1911 was discontinued in 1933. The blued 23.3" barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The factory blued curved trigger is smooth and light on release. The factory smooth dark walnut stock is good, with the expected dents and dings from a WWI rifle, but less than would be thought normal. Own a piece of history today with the EW Bern Model K1911. This K1911 comes with a 6 round detachable magazine and a cardboard box. .303 British SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Metal Condition: Good Wood Condition: Good Bore Condition: Very Good Barrels: Blued 23.3 Triggers: Blue Curved Single Stage Stock Dimensions: LOP 14 1/2 Fore End: Matching Smooth Dark Walnut Butt Pad: Steel Weight: 8 Lbs. 9 Oz, Sights: Front Winged Blade with Rear Graduated Tangent Item Location: West Chester, OH |
