Here's a Golden 39-A Mountie that's a 99%'er, at least !
The Mountie is the shorter, lighter ,straight grip version of the original 39-A.
The Mountie has a 19 1/2 inch barrel and weighs about a pound less.
This little guy is in fine condition, as clean inside as it is outside.
It is mechanically perfect and has blue and wood finish to match !
The light weight Mountie is easy to carry and swings and aims like a part of your arm.
The Marlin .22 rifles are known to be very accurate shooting guns. I
think , this gun , using the right rest, will put shot after shot inside a dime at squirrel
distance,( about 35 yds.).
Not many of these left around, in good condition.
Bottom line; Golden 39-A Mountie, the absolute finest in .22 cal , lever action rifles.
