Original WW2 M1 Garand- not quite in all original configuation, as so few of them are! Kind of neat that this one still has its original wartime lock bar rear sight. It has a H&R bolt and the barrel is dated 1/55. It has likely been rebuilt several times, how did they miss the lock bar? The Muzzle reading is a 1, the throat erosion is measured at 2. Basically a new barrel. It is "in the white" at the chamber. Probably not fired since it was rebarreled. Bought from the CMP years ago as a Service Grade. 3.4 is late WW2, approx April '45, so this is a WW2 Garand. Stock is solid, nice walnut under all of the dents and dings it has acquired since the war. Should make a fantastic shooter with that new '65 barrel. $55 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
