"Serial 412843. Made in 1892. .44-40 Caliber with a 24" barrel. Metal has an even brown patina on the metal. Wood is good. Butt stock has been refinished. Action works great and bore is surprisingly good. This is the best caliber for a Winchester 1873. Very good Winchester 1873 Rifle!
