The most scarce of Winchsters excellent model 100's rare in rifle and esp rare in the factory Carbine. This gun is in very good to excellent condition; all blued surfaces (barrel and receiver) are not far from new cond.with modest carry wear underside. We are calling the cond. of blue at or near 95%. The handsome walnut 1 pc walnut stock has some light compression marks and one scratch on the underside near the barrel band; almost no loss of finish. No cracks no splits no damage or repairs. The factory screws on the left side of the receiver (so that a receiver sight may have been installed filler screws have been removed; but are easliy replaced. the correct Winchester metal pistol grip cap is missing the wincheter "W" ...thse are available from a variety of sources for little $
These are very hard to come by in factory correct carbine in this cal; a great hunter or collector
