Heres a Rare Bird ! And a Must For the Winchester Collector . Serial number 22. Jennings was the Main reason the Legendary Henry 1st Repeating Rifle in the Civil War was invented. He had a lot to do with it ! The was made for only one year 1852 . Only a handful where made ! This is a Very good example! Made of all Iron . Factory Engraved. Markings and the Engraving are sharp and still vibrant .gun has most all of its finish that turned into a blue brown mellow patina. theres a crack in the upper tang . right where screw is. Bore and mechanics are very good . Gun is in very good working order . Original Wood is in very good condition . Gun is missing rear sight bead and Ramrod. Gun is 100 percent correct and Original ! This gun was there and used ! Wish this one could talk . Super nice honest example of a rare low production Rifle with fantastic Winchester Arms Company History !
