Description:
This rifle is extremely rare. It has a Springfield rear sight, double set triggers, sling swivels and the cleaning rod in the butt stock. The cleaning rod is rare and worth several hundred dollars alone. This is an early gun with the "S" lever and is in unbelievable original condition with over 90% bluing and original varnish on the wood. The bore is excellent., Andrew Burgess is the overall designer of these rifles and was prolific as a gun designer, second only to Jon Browning. You will probably never find another one of these rifles in this configuration, an exceptional original frontier rifle. $8999.00
